History

OPS is a Western Australian company first established in 1981. Our company, situated in Leederville, initially provided prosthetic services to returned servicemen.

In 1984 the company began to provide orthotic services in addition to those already offered. The practice became known as Orthotic and Prosthetic Solutions (OPS) in 2004.

As client demand continued to grow, a larger and more modern facility was required. OPS moved into their new premises, still within Newcastle St. Leederville, in January 2011.

In response to the population growth and increased demand for clinical services in Perth’s northern suburbs,OPS opened a second facility in Joondalup, in July 2011.

OPS clinicians provide services to Sir Charles Gardener Hospital, Hollywood Hospital, The Mount Hospital, Joondalup Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital, as well as working closely with the Ability Center.

Due to limited services in regional northern WA, OPS have made it a priority to attend six remote clinics every year. This enables regional communities to receive the same professional health care that is available to metropolitan clients.
